Platteville Dairy Days Annual meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2021 in the Platteville Regional Chamber board room. A review of 2021 Dairy Days will take place followed by election of officers. Anyone interested in joining the Dairy Days committee is welcome to attend.
The Dairy Days Committee has more exciting news! The Arts and Crafts Exhibit entries are now open to EVERYONE (including adults) living in Grant, Iowa or Lafayette Counties. This year Dairy Days will host entries in Junior (grades PreK to 12th) and Open Classes (adults). This means that if you are a crafter, woodworker, baker or artist, you can display your work at Dairy Days and possibly win a prize! While membership in 4-H or FFA is not required, Dairy Days will remain a fair where 4-H & FFA members can enter to make a public display of their projects and reach “Achievement” status for the 4-H/FFA year. Check out the entry booklet on our website for a listing of departments and entry information.
We're adding a Dairy Goat Show!
This year we will be adding a Dairy Goat Show! The show is open to exhibitors in 12th grade or under as of January 1, 2021 and will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2021. Details and entry form can be found HERE
Introducing Alexis Blankenberg as the 2021 Platteville Dairy Days Ambassador
Platteville Dairy Days, Inc. has been planning diligently this year to provide a safe environment to hold our 74th Dairy Days celebration on September 10-12, 2021! Although we understand there are obstacles to overcome yet, we are moving forward with the planning process in hopes of providing this annual community event. The Dairy Days Committee is a group of volunteers whose sole purpose is to make Dairy Days the best event that it can be. As an independent group, we have no permanent financial backing. Therefore, we are asking for your continued support for this year’s event.
